Writing an original story: my experience

This last weekend, my group and I had been working in one of the last activities from this course, which was to exploit our creativity by creating an original story. I must say that I was kind of afraid of how our ideas would fit and develop fluidly in only one story, but even though at the beginning it was a little bit difficult to come up with ideas, a brainstorming with even the simplest and silliest ideas was the key to chose a central topic for the story. At some point, we decided to go with a horror tale, by inspiring us in some video games that some of the group members had played in the past. 

From this point to the end, everything was easier to do, and personally I enjoyed doing it since I was able to set my imagination free and to express it in the writing, even though I was a little bit afraid my classmates didn’t like what I had done, but I think we really caught the main idea and everything flowed good as a group. 

At the end, I was really happy with the final result, since I could see the amazing creativity and writing skills my classmates have, but what I really liked was the whole creative process, it was fun and interesting to do, but definitely it is way harder than doing it by oneself.
